The co-chairman of the Electoral Reform Commission, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has stated that the majority is inclined to make legal changes to the electoral law, only in its own interest.
Alibeaj said that he represents only the DP in the Commission, but added that he is in favor of the representation of other opposition currents as well.
He also said that the rest of the opposition, meaning "Reestablishment" led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, with their actions serve the majority and Prime Minister Rama.
" The Electoral Reform Commission is apparently inclined to make legal changes only in the interest of the majority, and not as a consensual political agreement with the entire political spectrum.
Even a part of the opposition, fully represented in the Commission, with its own actions brings grist to Edi Rama's mill. I have always said, I represent only a part of the opposition, I represent PD. It would be a mistake to assume the interests of other opposition parties as well.
Earlier, it was our request, that is, of the DP, that the other opposition parties, the Freedom Party, PR, PDIU, etc., should be represented in the Commission, because all the opposition flows should be represented ", said Alibeaj.
