The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has sent a message of condolence to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following the serious incident at a ski resort where 66 people lost their lives.
In his message, Begaj writes that the Albanian people are close to the children who have lost their loved ones in this tragedy.
" We are deeply saddened by the tragic accident in Bolu, Turkey. On behalf of Albania, I express my heartfelt condolences and those of the Albanian people to the families of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with President @RTERdogan and the Turkish people in this difficult time ," President Begaj wrote on his X account.
