The State Prosecutor, Armend Hamiti, in a statement for Sinjal , announced that no arrests have been made and so far no persons have been interviewed as suspects.

As part of the investigation of the case, the statement of Asdren Begolli, 32 years old from Peja, who was with the victim at the critical moment, as well as the testimonies of two other people, was taken.

The deceased was a widow, since a few years ago her husband, Arlindi, had tragically lost his life, committing suicide.

Around 03:30, the now deceased, Artila Kameri and Asdren Begolli, are suspected to have been involved in a verbal conflict with each other.
