Talks are expected to start tomorrow in Brussels on the dinar issue between the chief negotiator of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi and the Serbian one, Petar Petkovic.
The news was announced a few days ago by the EU emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, after the meeting between the chief negotiators in the European capital.
In a post on the "X" platform, Lajçak announced that among the topics discussed at the meeting was the regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo for cash payments.
" We agreed to continue with this issue next Monday, while the Basic Agreement should be addressed by the leaders ," Lajçak wrote.
We remind you that the CBK's decision on the Serbian dinar has once again stirred up the extremely aggravated situation between Kosovo and Serbia. Despite the US-EU pressures, Kosovo has not backed down, however something is expected to be achieved at the next meeting in Brussels.
