The Assembly of Kosovo will hold an extraordinary session today starting at 19:00, following the decision taken by the Presidency.
MPs will vote on the composition and leadership of parliamentary committees. According to the agreed division between the groups, the Vetëvendosje Movement will lead nine committees, the Democratic Party of Kosovo three, the Democratic League of Kosovo two, the Serbian List one, while one committee will belong to the Multiethnic Group.
The agenda also includes the review of the government's request for budget allocation for March according to the 1/12 formula. The deputies will also consider the Government's rules of procedure.
The session also includes the consideration of a resolution related to the trial in The Hague against former KLA leaders. Before the start of the proceedings, representatives of the parliamentary groups are expected to hold a coordination meeting.
A day earlier, the Assembly constituted the new composition, elected Albulena Haxhiu as Speaker of Parliament and approved the formation of the Kurti 3 government.
