The chairman of the PDK, Memli Krasniqi, met the European Union Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, in Brussels, with whom he said he discussed the European integration of Kosovo.
Krasniqi said that for the citizens of Kosovo this is important and that for the party he leads it is its vision and mission.
"Together we discussed the European integration process of Kosovo and the importance of our country not being left behind in this process. For the state and our citizens, it is very necessary that the European perspective is clear and tangible. For PDK, Kosovo's membership in the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic institutions is the vision, mission and the only way forward", said Krasniqi.
Varhelyi also reacted to this meeting with Krasniqi on the X social network. He said that in the meeting with him he mentioned the normalization of Kosovo's relations with Serbia as essential.
"We discussed with the chairman of the PDK Memli Krasniqi the future of Kosovo on its way to the EU. The normalization of relations with Serbia is essential to enable progress. The situation in the north of Kosovo must be resolved with priority", said Varhelyi.
