The Vetëvendje Movement and Albin Kurti are the big winners of the December 28 snap elections in Kosovo, after the months-long political crisis that produced the February elections, where no political force managed to form a government.
Regarding the process that took place yesterday, the rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Riho Terras, stated that the result of the early elections in Kosovo should end the political blockade, as according to him it has cost the country millions of euros in European Union funds.
"The results of the Kosovo elections should end the political deadlock that has cost the country millions of euros in EU funds. Prime Minister Albin Kurti now has a clear mandate and a responsibility to govern in a more pragmatic manner," Terras wrote on the "X" platform.
