The loss of the lives of three children from the collapse of an uninhabited building in Jabllanicë, Gjakova, has shocked the entire country.
Police announced that the circumstances that caused the collapse of this building are still unknown.
Recently, security camera footage has been published in the media, showing the moment of the collapse of the uninhabited building.
From these images, it can be seen that its collapse occurred around 16:35, while the victims were found about four hours later.
Përparim Ademaj, a resident of the village, recounted the harrowing moments of their search under the rubble.
"They told me on the phone that they hadn't been notified since 4:00 PM," he says, recalling the moment when he and the children's parents went to the scene.
He said that while calling them, they heard the phones ringing under the rubble.
"When we talked to them, we saw a building that had collapsed. When we called them on the phone, we heard their phones vibrating between the tiles," he added.
Regarding this tragic case, the heads of institutions and political parties have reacted, demanding a full investigation.
