The Serbian December 17 of 2023 is so similar to the German January 30 of 1933.
The Brussels agreement [February 24, 2023] did not take into consideration Joe Biden's letter sent to the Serbian president at the beginning of his term, which reinforced mutual recognition at the center of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which was based on France's geopolitical calculations and interests its in Southeast Europe. Therefore, as such, it makes significant concessions to Serbia, with the idea of moving from recognition at the center of the dialogue to only de facto recognition, accompanying it with additional concessions related to the gradual creation of the "Serbian World". . This is how they judged in Paris and then in Brussels, that Belgrade will judge rationally and agree to break away from Russian influence.
In this context, Great Britain appears to have judged more rationally by clarifying its position, without calculating the possibility of Serbia's quick withdrawal from the hemisphere of Russian interest. Meanwhile, the buying of time by Serbia through the support of Ukraine with the stocks of Serbian weapons and ammunition, can always be described as a momentary tactical action and calculation more by the military than by visionary politicians.
The continuation of the war in Ukraine is gradually turning Russia into a vassal of China and Serbia into a vassal of Russia. But, if for the EU and Europe as a whole the Russian danger is permanent, support for the Ukrainian army is de facto the decisive battle to stop Russia's further expansion either in the Baltics or in the Balkans, for the USA, as long as they continue to support Ukraine with the capacities they are supporting, China becomes its main rival, aiming to reshape "the international order and the economic, diplomatic, military and technological power to do so." As in the case of China, also in the case of Russia, it is known - they already have clear strategic objectives for reshaping the world order. Whether this order will be based on the interests of the five new powers [US, EU, China, Russia and India], establishing Russia among the five, is vital for Serbia.
The issue in this flow of geopolitical developments is not only the war in Ukraine, but also the possibilities for it to have new fronts in Europe and elsewhere, distracting the battle with Russia and the division front between the five powerful ones in question. In this clash of a purely geopolitical character, the elections of December 17 in Serbia and their already known end, turn out to have served the cementing of the power of Aleksandar Vučić more than any of his predecessors, including himself in this context Milosevic.
Vučić will now use this political power to position himself even more in favor of Russia, seriously undermining the interests of the EU and the USA in the region.

Vucic's growing repression of the opposition in the country and his aggressiveness, with an emphasis on Kosovo, accompanied by the deepening of cooperation with Russia, China, Iran..., are therefore a real threat to peace in the region and a public challenge that it makes EU and USA. See for this, the countermeasure must be coordinated and without delay.
The Ministry of Defense of Serbia, as reported by the regional media, has received 750 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones from Iran. This fact was confirmed last Monday by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Political Affairs, Ali Bagheri. Meanwhile, the day after, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced that, next month, Belgrade will present a Russian system for protection against drones, called Repellent, which it bought some time ago from its ally, Russia. On the same day, Miroslav Lajcak, the European Union envoy for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, landed in Belgrade. And as if to cover the actions expected to be undertaken by Vučiči towards Kosovo in the following weeks, he claims to return attention to the issue of dialogue, namely the realization of the Brussels Agreement!
With these actions, not only Serbia, but also a neighborhood of Western diplomats, are de facto challenging the EU and the USA, while the comings and goings of Lajcak only serve to self-deceive the liberal-democratic "system" of Weimar. , alias Belgrade, as they feed the illusion that Serbia continues to need the restorative force of a leader with a strong hand, such as Aleksandër Vucic!
That is why the Serbian December 17 of 2023 is so similar to the German January 30 of 1933. The real liberals of Serbia have begun to accept this fact, but not even the Borrel-Lajcak duo!
