A person suspected of being a member of the "Albkings" group has been arrested on the "Telegram" social network, where various intimate photos and videos of girls, as well as their contacts, were distributed.
The citizen was arrested in Kosovo and the announcement was made by the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Pristina.
"The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina informs the public opinion that after the publication of information in the media about the activities of the "Albkings" group on the "Telegram" social network, according to official duty, it has initiated investigations and in full coordination with the Kosovo Police - the Investigation Unit of Cybercrime has undertaken investigative actions to identify the persons who managed this account and other groups related to this group, through which the distribution of various intimate photos and videos of women in the aforementioned application, including their personal data for the provision of sexual services", the announcement states.
The prosecution adds that after the implementation of secret technical investigation and surveillance measures, in the late hours of 16.04.2024, the suspect was first arrested and by the decision of the State Prosecutor, one of the administrators of the group in question was detained for 48 hours , due to the criminal offense "Theft of identity and credentials".
The prosecution adds that in coordination with the police, other additional investigative actions will continue to be undertaken to identify other persons involved in this case.
