The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, gave a clear message today to the official Tirana at the joint meeting of the parliaments of Kosovo and Albania, which was held this Friday in Pristina.
With Rama sitting in the Assembly hall, Osmani called for more cooperation between the two governments, while emphasizing that Kosovo faces obstacles in its difficult path.
According to her, Kosovo's journey on the European road should be supported by Albania.
"We are living in a turbulent time that requires cooperation. This is not just a solution. A stronger Albania also means a stronger Kosovo. History will not judge us kindly to build the necessary harmony. Each one of us must play his role in the advancement of the states within the great European family.
Albania is taking decisive steps towards the EU path. Kosovo remains steadfast on its path to EU integration and our commitment is daily. Injustices against the people of Kosovo keep increasing, we need Albania's steadfast support in this regard.
To unify the foreign policy, to cooperate in the protection of the rights of Albanians wherever they live. The Albanians in Bujanoc, Preshevo and Medvegja have their eyes on us. For Kosovo, Albania has been more than a sister state", said President Osmani.
Osmani called for greater cooperation between the two countries, with concrete steps between the two countries.
'Our aspiration to join is not only a political goal, but a reflection of who we are. Our nation defended the last gate of Europe before the EU was founded, the values are in the very foundations of our nation, the obstacles are too big, the injustices keep coming and growing, to overcome them, we need the support of Albania, the EU will be safer, in stable as part of it. Kosovo's membership in NATO will put an end to the destabilizing regimes of Kosovo, said the president of Kosovo.
