Michael Martens, journalist of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, has called absurd the threat of the European Union with sanctions against Prime Minister Kurti, while something like this is not happening with the President of Serbia Vucic and Republika Srpska Dodik. The journalist emphasizes that the EU threatens him with sanctions Kosovo, while towards Serbia it is soft.
In a post on his Twitter profile, he writes:
" On the current situation in the Balkans: the EU is threatening sanctions against the Kurti government in Kosovo, but not against the Serbian leaders Vucic and Dodik. This is absurd, to say the least. But it seems that there is an explanation for the Western tenderness towards Belgrade .
The European Commission has prepared a list of measures against Kosovo due to the situation in the North. However, Prime Minister Kurti, reacting, said that the EU finds in Kosovo the most sincere and stable partner.
