The death of the 18-year-old from Podujeva, Lulzim Fejzullahut, has shocked Kosovo. The young man who died on Saturday ended up in the KKUK a few days ago, after being brutally beaten by some minors. For this macabre crime, two people are already in custody, as they are being investigated to discover the circumstances and the motive that led to this conflict that ended tragically.
The attack that killed Lulzim allegedly happened at noon on January 14, for reasons still unknown, on "Drenica" street in Podujevë. Regarding the case, the Police said that the victim was stabbed.
"Two Kosovar male suspects were arrested after they stabbed the Kosovar male victim with a knife. The victim was taken to the hospital at the Podujevë Medical Center and then to the Pristina Medical Center. Police units at the scene confiscated a knife and a car. According to the decision of the prosecutor, the two suspects are in custody" , the report revealed.
But what really happened?
In the file of the Prosecution, it is stated that after a physical fight, two suspects (minors) hit the victim with a stick, causing bodily injuries. As a result of these injuries, the victim was sent to the KKUK for medical treatment, while on the same day, by order of the State Prosecutor, the two minors were detained for the criminal offense of "Attempted murder" (now murder). and the case has started to be handled in the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina. The two suspects who are behind bars for this case are E. Kadriu (16 years old) and A. Abdullahu (17 years old).
The fact that the minors hit the 18-year-old with a stick was also confirmed by the video that was published yesterday.
It shows how the two main suspects for the murder first hit the young man from Podujeva, who was buried yesterday, with a car and then beat him with a stick.
The family members of the deceased also spoke about this terrible case. They say that after an argument with several people, Lulzimi was hit by a car and then hit with baseball bats, causing serious injuries.
"I am his uncle. As an 18-year-old, Lulzim was a worker, he was an orphan. Without both parents. They chased him with a car, stepped on him, crushed him and knocked him down. When they shot Lulzim, they hit him with a baseball bat, until today at 3 o'clock in the afternoon he passed away ," said Lulzim's uncle.
After the case, the sister of the deceased reacted on social networks, expressing her pain and anger at the tragic loss of her brother. " Your heart is broken like ours, may God punish you, never lose sight of your eyes", she said.
