18-year-old Lulzim Fejzullahi, who was brutally raped a few days ago in Podujevë, died yesterday at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. He was in intensive care after suffering serious head injuries.
"The 18-year-old patient has been being treated in Intensive Care for six days now. It was admitted as a result of the injuries he received from the beating with a strong tool. He had serious head injuries. He was operated on at the Neurosurgery Clinic and died today", doctor Agreta Gashi told the media.
According to the media in Kosovo, the young man had been in the hospital for 6 days being treated after receiving serious head injuries.
It is reported that he was raped by a group of people in the city of Podujeva for still unclear reasons, while it is suspected that before he was hit he was first hit by a car.
Meanwhile, the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Pristina has stated that the case initially initiated as "Attempted murder" has now been reclassified as "Serious murder" while the suspects have been sent to custody.
