"We are at a critical moment", the opposition in Kosovo asks Kurti for
The chairman of LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku and the head of PDK, Memli Krasniqi

After the meeting with the emissaries Lajçak and Escobar, the chairman of LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku told the media that Kosovo is in a critical moment.

He said that the situation is disturbing and unclear due to the lack of "the prime minister's plan and willingness to agree with our allies".

Abdixhiku hopes that Kurti will reflect, while he called on President Osmani to be "clearer and more vocal at this critical moment for Kosovo".

"We are getting into a very disturbing situation for the Republic of Kosovo and, moreover, unclear. Worrying because of the state of relations that Kosovo has with its allies and unclear because of the lack of a plan and the readiness of the prime minister of Kosovo to agree with our allies. At this stage of Kosovo, our citizens have to see the consequences that may come from such a relationship, primarily from the USA, EU and NATO. We find it difficult to accept such a situation as the LDK, as an opposition political party with a limited number of deputies in the parliament, our actions will be public, but at the same time we hope that the media will broadcast the situation as clearly as possible. of Kosovo today, as an unprecedented situation for us in these 33 years of striving for freedom and independence, and for the citizens of Kosovo to understand beyond populism, for the path that Prime Minister Kurti is taking Kosovo. I hope that he will reflect and again I call on the president to be clearer, more vocal, at this critical moment for Kosovo", said Abdixiku.

While the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Memli Krasniqi said that in the meeting with the envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and with the emissary of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, they discussed recent developments and have heard the American and European positions on the situation created in the north.

He said that there were no requests in this meeting, beyond being informed about the situation that has developed.

Krasniqi stated that in the meeting they also reiterated the position of the PDK.

He emphasized that they are not seeing any forward movement and that the current situation is harming Kosovo.

"It is true that the current situation is very worrying, we are seeing that there is no forward movement, there is a situation which is harming Kosovo in the sense of its international relations, first of all with strategic partners, therefore we sought and I express our readiness to play our state role in order to maintain our relations with the USA, first of all, and the EU states", said Krasniqi.

Asked if they support new elections in the north, he said that no specific topics were discussed at the meeting.
