The painter from Kosovo, Argenita Fetahu, has made every Albanian proud after appearing on the billboards of the "New York Times" among the 100 best art artists in the world.
During a confession in "Abc e Măngjesit", she showed the relationship with painting, while saying that she has practiced her talent for art since childhood.
"I don't have it from my family, but since I was little I had the talent for art and I remember that my grandfather was a great supporter of mine and was the main pillar for me. Then I started working without stopping. Then from a young age I published a children's illustration book. So from a few illustrations done, I started working hard and pursued art studies. I did my studies at the University of Pristina. I started my sketches on paper", she said. She said that in Albania she has not done any mural with her own hand yet, but added that she had a personal exhibition in the city of Shkodra.
"No, as for the murals, no, but I have participated in numerous exhibitions, I had a personal exhibition in Shkodra, it was a very beautiful part for me because it was a bridge, a connecting bridge between Gjakova and Shkodra, which are two countries with traditions and culture", he said.
But how he found himself among the 100 best artists selected by the "New York Times", for this Fetahu made this description:
"Normally I didn't expect it, before I received an invitation from one of my Filipino colleagues. She told me she wanted to see me on that giant screen and then I got an e-mail, I hadn't seen her because of a lot of work, and when I saw it I noticed that I was selected among the artists and it was a exciting moment for me, because every artist would like to be part of this platform", said the artist.
She said that during the painting of the murals, there were dangerous cases that endangered her life due to the distortion of the scaffolding.
"Because of the scaffolding, it happened to me twice that my scaffolding was twisted. They have been in danger twice," she added
