An unexpected piece of news has been shared in the Italian media today regarding Juventus and it has nothing to do with the situation that Tiago Mota is going through on the Bianconeri bench. According to “Corriere Dello Sport”, Andrea Agnelli, the former president of the Bianconeri, is ready to buy the club by taking it from the Agnelli family company, “Exor”, which has the controlling stake.
The Italian newspaper reports that Andrea Agnelli is aiming to return to the top flight of football after several years away from it as a result of the sentence he was given for the fictitious capital gains case of the black and white club. It seems unlikely that he personally has enough funds to buy the club, which is valued at over 1.3 billion euros, but the possibility of having support from American investors is not ruled out.
On November 29, 2022, Andrea Agnelli left Juventus after the capital gains scandal, but is preparing for a big comeback, even with German coach Jurgen Klopp.
An American fund could help him, while Red Bull is expected to get involved. Agnelli has won 19 trophies with Juventus and, if Klopp takes over, the project already looks quite promising.
However, for the moment, spokespersons for the "Exor" company have described everything as unfounded on real facts, but without denying the possibility of selling the black and white club to a family member, such as Andrea Anjeli.
