Emir Sahiti was not part of Kosovo for the September matches. The Hamburg footballer has revealed that it was his choice, even issuing a bombastic statement.
" I was invited, but I chose not to go. I have no problem with my teammates. Some start as starters even though they haven't played for months. I play for Hamburg and I feel good. If I deserve it, I want to play. That's why I didn't go this time ," Sahiti told "Mopo".
Sahiti has thus openly expressed his dissatisfaction by questioning Franco Foda's choices. The 26-year-old striker has five appearances with the Dardanian national team, where he has also scored 1 goal.
This strong statement comes just after Kosovo played two matches. They lost the first to Switzerland, while in the second they won against Sweden.
