Stephan El Shaarawy has signed a contract renewal with Roma until June 2025. The Italian winger's previous agreement expired on June 30. The Capitals have now confirmed a two-year contract extension for the 30-year-old.
" I would like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to continue playing my football here. Rome has always been my priority. I have discovered my second family here and I feel the responsibility to repay the fans for all the love they have always shown me. We have grown in terms of self-confidence and being a close-knit group over the years, so now we must continue to fight to achieve the goals we deserve" , declared the Italian.
While the director of Roma, Tiago Pinto stated that Stephan has shown his love for the club both on and off the field.
" Over the years, Stephan has shown how connected he is to this team and to this city, while also making an ongoing positive contribution on and off the field.
We are delighted to secure Stephan's experience and professionalism to Roma for the future, along with his skills, assists and goals that have always made him stand out ," he said.
