Kristjan Asllani has not been able to properly showcase his skills in front of Besiktas fans due to a quick red card he received in the match against Koniaspor at the weekend. But from what the club is showing on social media, the Albanian midfielder is in excellent form in training.
In videos published on social media, Asllani is seen putting on a spectacular display with shots from outside the area during training, scoring regularly, showing that he will be ready for the moment he returns to the field.
He will be absent from Besiktas' match against Kocaelispor in the Turkish Cup tomorrow, while he is expected to be alongside his teammates in the championship match, as he is serving his red card in the Cup.
However, this is no longer entirely certain, as the Turkish Football Federation's Competition Commission has referred his case to the Disciplinary Commission for review. "Beşiktaş club footballer Kristjan Asllani has been referred to the Disciplinary Commission of the Turkish Football Federation for review in accordance with the regulations due to his 'illegal conduct' during the Beşiktaş-Koniaspor match," the report submitted to the commission reads.
This does not mean that Asllani will necessarily be punished for more than the match he received from the red card, as the Commission can only leave it in force, without giving any other sanctions. However, the fact that his case has been sent for review has brought a lot of dissatisfaction to Besiktas fans who have reacted in recent days on social networks.
