While Enzo Mareska is concerned about the transfer market and defensive injuries, Chelsea are facing another problem.
Video equipment worth around £30,000 has gone missing from Cobham's training ground. The club have called the police and filed a complaint - as reported by The Sun - over the theft of cameras and equipment used to analyse Maresca's team's training sessions.
This is not the first case of theft in Surrey, where Cobham's training ground is located. Several Chelsea players, who live near the Blues' headquarters, have had their homes burglarized.
The most egregious case involved Raheem Sterling, who had watches worth around £300,000 stolen from his home while he was in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup. The England winger returned home to be with his family before returning under the orders of manager Southgate.
Captain Reece James was also the victim of a robbery in December 2021 while playing in a Champions League match and described them as "cowardly thieves".
Thieves have now also managed to break into Cobham's training ground, confirming the ongoing problem of theft.
