Albanian midfielder Leon Avdullahu has extended his collaboration with Hoffenheim, signing a new contract that keeps him tied to the German club until 2031.
The news was also confirmed by the team's sports director, Andreas Shiker, who praised the Albanian player's contribution and potential. According to him, Avdullahu represents a successful model of developing young players within the club.
" Leon is a prime example of what the development of a young player here at Hoffenheim can look like. I am very happy that he wants to continue this successful path with us and that the team is keeping one of its key figures ," said Schicker.
He has also highlighted the midfielder's technical and tactical qualities, underlining his ability to read the game and influence the team's style.
" Leon can read a match, he is a strategist and his vision is of great importance for our style of play ," added the sporting director.
The contract renewal is seen as an important step for both the club and the player himself, who is expected to have a key role in Hoffenheim's long-term project.
