
Kristian Shpendi is definitely going through a season which will affect his career in important Italian football. The Albanian striker last night reached the quota of 20 goals in this edition with Cezena's shirt in Serie B and now the well-known Italian clubs are competing to secure the striker's services.
The 20-year-old is seen as a very complete player who can do well not only one category above, but also in Serie A. So the elite clubs are already chasing him, trying to avoid an auction of literally in the summer, when Shpendi will undoubtedly be sought after by much more prestigious names.
Italian media reports that Fiorentina and Sassuolo are the first two clubs that have shown concrete interest in the Albanian attacker, ready to open their doors for the next season. His market value is thought to be around €2 million, but they should be prepared to spend more if Shpendi continues to score as regularly as he has so far, propelling his side to promotion to Serie B.
