
Everton secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Chelsea in the 31st week of the Premier League, deepening the London team's crisis after the midweek defeat to PSG and elimination from the Champions League.
The home team opened the scoring in the 32nd minute. Guinean striker Beto finished off a James Garner pass to give Everton the lead. The first half ended 1-0.
In the second half, Everton increased the pace and in the 62nd minute it was Beto again who found the net, this time after an assist from Idrisa Gueje.
The third goal came in the 76th minute, when Iliman Ndiaje scored a powerful shot inside the area, after a header assist from Beto, who was the absolute protagonist of the challenge.
With this victory, Everton climbs to seventh place with 46 points, remaining in the race for a place in European Cups, specifically in the Conference League or the Europa League. On the other hand, Chelsea remains in sixth place with 48 points.
