But what are the other matches that have generated the most revenue for a club in Italian football? At the moment, the first place is the 2023 semi-final between Inter and Milan, which brought in 12.5 million euros for the black and blue club and was attended by 75,567 fans.
In second place is the previous semi-final between Milan and Inter 0-2, which brought the Rossoneri 10.4 million euros.
In third place is the match between Inter and Bayern, played this season with 10 million euros, while in fourth place is Inter-Atletico Madrid with 9.2 million euros.
Of course, not all of this revenue goes to the Inter or Milan teams, because the "San Siro" stadium is owned by the municipality.
For this reason, the black-and-blue and red-and-black clubs have been discussing and thinking about building another stadium for years, so that the revenue can go directly to the club's coffers.
