Rei Manaj leaves Arabia and transfers to China, becomes the highest paid player

The winter transfer window has paved the way for a new chapter in the career of Albanian national team striker Rei Manaj.

The 27-year-old has decided to continue his football adventure in the Far East, signing a 2-year contract with Chinese club Zhejiang Professional FC.

According to the agreement, Manaj will receive a salary of 4 million euros per season, becoming one of the highest-paid Albanian footballers in his respective clubs, a record in itself.

This transfer comes after his experience at Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates, where the red and black striker stood out for his good form and decisive goals.

Zhejiang Professional FC aims to strengthen the offensive department with Manaj's international experience, while his presence is expected to significantly increase the club's competitiveness and ambitions in the Chinese championship.
