Today at 13:00 the draw for the play-off phase of the Conference League was made. Drita and Shkëndija learned their opponent, after doing quite well in the championship phase. The Kosovo champions will challenge the Slovenians Celje, while Shkëndija will face the Turks Samsunspor.
Drita escaped the confrontation with AZ Alkmaar. On the other hand, Shkëndija challenges the Turkish club, after the goals did not put them in front of Lek Poznan.
The first matches will be played on February 19th at home, for both Drita and Shkëndija. The fate will be sealed on February 26th in the return match.
This is just the play-off draw. So if they qualify for the round of 16 of this tournament, Drita will be challenged by one of Sparta Prague, Qazim Laçi's former team, or Thomas Strakosha's AEK.
Meanwhile, Shkëndija could face either Shakhtar Donetsk or Ivan Balliu's Rajo Vajekanos. The draw for the 1/8 stage of the Conference League will be made on February 27.
