"Ball of Gold"/ Donaruma is declared the best goalkeeper, PSG the team

The 2025 Ballon d'Or ceremony continues with the distribution of various awards, before culminating with the crowning of the best player of the year.

-The Coach of the Year award went to Luis Enrique, who finally gave Paris Saint-Germain the Champions League last season by destroying Inter Milan 5-0 in the final. England coach Sarina Wiegman won the Women's Coach of the Year award.

-The best goalkeeper award, (Yashin Trophy) was won by Hannah Hampton of Chelsea for the women's team and Gianluigi Donnarumma for the men's team.

-The Gerd Muller Award, for the best striker of the year, was won by Ewa Pajor for the women's team and Viktor Gyokeres for the men's team. Barcelona's Pajor won the Liga F Pichichi trophy with 25 goals and Viktor Gyokeres scored a staggering 39 goals in 33 Primeira Liga matches for Sporting CP.

- Team of the Year; Arsenal are the winners of the Women's Club of the Year award! They won the UEFA Women's Champions League last season, lifting the trophy for the first time since 2006/07. Paris Saint-Germain are the Men's Club of the Year! No big surprise here, the Parisians won the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the 2024/25 season.
