Monika Kryemadhi appeared today at the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption (SPAK), in implementation of the "compulsory appearance" security measure, previously ordered by the Court.
After leaving the prosecution, Kryemadhi spoke about the $245,000 card that SPAK accuses him of spending on hotels, clothing in Beverly Hills and Las Vegas with Ardian Shatku's card.
Kryemadhi admitted that she has been to the United States, more specifically in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with her cousins Adrian Shatku and singer Bebe Rexha.
According to her, she went to the bank in the US to show her personal expenses during this time, where according to her, she was in the US to celebrate her daughter's 10th birthday, accompanied by several friends.
Asked about the claim that she spent over 200 thousand dollars on clothing, Kryemadhi said that these are statements made by Tedi Blushi, the General Secretary of the Freedom Party, who according to her takes orders from SPAK.
"First, regarding the card that Meta talks about in the words of Altin Dumani, I want to say something. I have also been to Las Vegas and Beverly Hills. With my cousin Shatku, the three children, my cousin Bebe Rexha, for my daughter's birthday. My friends have also been there. This is what the spokesman for the Freedom Party, Blushi, says, who receives directives from SPAK. Shatku's card is 245 thousand dollars, with hotels, plane tickets, ice cream. And what I want to say is that the headquarters has its own expenses. I will ask the bank, as far as I am concerned, what my tickets are. Adrian Shatku has nothing to do with the state budget, nor with tenders, nor benefits or expenses from the government or taxpayers, it is an American company that has worked and is working in 56 other countries around the world," said Kryemadhi.

Kryemadhi is under investigation for criminal offenses of corruption, money laundering and failure to declare assets, the same charges for which former president Ilir Meta, now her ex-husband and currently chairman of the Freedom Party, was also arrested.
