The hearing of the request of Jamarbër Malltez to revoke the security measure 'house arrest' related to the Partizani affair is being held today at the GJKKO. Sali Berisha's son-in-law appeared in court in person.
Jamarbër Malltezi stated before SPAK that after so many months of delay, there is still no decision based on evidence regarding the "Partizani" file.
"We are in the next confrontation, we are requesting a change in the security measure. It has been over 20 months since the Political Prosecution made the decision and the judges have been made available to Edi Rama," he said.
Asked what the defense strategy is, Malltezi responded by saying that the Special Prosecution Office does not possess any criminal facts.
"Is there a criminal case?! They said it was a plan to spread, surprisingly it wasn't at all. Everything fell through, however, anything can happen. I'm not even allowed to communicate with my lawyers!", said the son-in-law of the leading democrat Sali Berisha.
The next hearing for this file will be held on July 21. This at the request of SPAK, as Berisha was not notified and was not personally present, while the lawyer for the "Homplan" company was also absent at the first hearing.
