Alma Tandili, the head of the State Agency for Children's Rights and Protection, has revealed new details about Jetnor Zhaboli, the 35-year-old who kept his wife, mother and two minor children isolated at home, while monitoring them with camera.
Invited to the show "Review" on Euronws Albania, she emphasized that the case has been understood since December, since the girl at the age of 9 was not attending school.
She underlined that they called the parents several times but they did not answer.
This is exactly what prompted the police to forcefully intervene in the apartment.
" This case has been understood since December, at school, from the non-attendance of the girl who has completely cut off contact. Staff psychologists found it impossible to communicate with the girl's parents as they did not answer the phone. They were frequently asked for in meetings and none were present. Everything was noticed. It was a call from a citizen to the police. The police have been very busy lately.
The police did not go alone. There are three children. Seeing this, the police could not intervene alone, but asked for the help of a psychologist. We had to go to the family and enter by force ," she said.
