Journalist Artan Hoxha, speaking about the arrest of the mayor of Tropoja, Rexhë Byberi, said that there are several mayors targeted by SPAK, but according to him, those who are hit first are those as far away from Tirana as possible.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", Hoxha said that Rexhë Byberi is accused of abuse of office and that he has caused the state a loss of 277 million ALL.
Furthermore, Hoxha had a piece of advice for SPAK; where he said that the first to be investigated are those mayors who are big factors in the country, who manage very large amounts of money.
"Rexhe Byberi has been with all his strength and it is very good that everyone is being investigated, but it seems a bit selective, because I believe that a good part of SPAK prosecutors have worked in Tropoja.
How much they want to abuse depends on the funds they receive.
I am of the principle that those who are big factors in the country, who manage very large amounts of money, should be investigated more quickly.
The maximum amount of corruption that Rexha could do there, because Berisha and Meta and Rama know that ," said Hoxha.
