Analyst Lorenc Vangjeli has commented on Sali Berisha's recent statements after the elections, calling them repetitive and lacking in innovation. According to him, Berisha is behaving the same as in the past elections, claiming that "his votes were stolen", and risks turning into a political suicide bomber, just like in 2019.
Vangjeli said that such actions are like an assassination attempt on the system, which, while not overthrowing order, “damages democratic structures and trust.” He added that the protest announced by the opposition on May 16 has more of a tragicomic character than a political one.
" The loser is again saying that my votes were stolen. Berisha is appearing the same. Berisha risks turning into a suicide bomber, just like in 2019, in an assassination attempt on the foundation of the system, which killed the suicide bomber, but also damaged the system. The protest movement on the 16th will be tragicomic. It is comical, there is no question about it ," said Vangjeli.
