The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has stated that the limitation of his individual and family freedom, but also of his fellow prosecutors due to his duty, was one of the hostages he had.
In an interview for the show "3D", on RTSH1, Dumani apologized to his family for the daily sacrifice they make.
" I want to thank my family. It is not easy to be a prosecutor, let alone a leader in the Special Prosecutor's Office. It is difficult in the Albanian environment to fulfill with professionalism.
I have definitely limited myself and sacrificed, but on the other hand, my family is also sacrificing. It is limited in its life, its freedom. And the prosecutors' families are limited in their freedom.
When I go from home to work in the morning, because I come back late at night and I don't see anything, from the window of the vehicle I see people moving freely, I wonder if that time will come when I, my family, my colleagues and families its move freely?
My answer is that despite the responsibilities, it is a job that we have chosen to do and we will do it with dedication. I want to thank my family for putting up with me and supporting me despite the costs they have taken on. Dumani said.
