Greek customs have announced a 48-hour strike from April 2 at 08.00 am and until April 4 at 08.00 am.
As a result of the strike, the movement of vehicles to Greece will be completely paralyzed at all customs points that connect the country with the countries of the region. As for Greek customs, staff warned of widespread participation in the strike.
According to sources from Kakavija and Kapshtica, during the 48 hours of the strike, no passenger vehicles and trucks will be able to move from and to Greece. Only pedestrians who pass without luggage and bags will be allowed.
The customs union said that the decision to start the strike was inevitable since the government has not fulfilled any of the demands of this union.
Also, the Union agreed to answer questions related to the problems that may be caused by this strike since it coincides with the days after the Catholic Easter and increased movement of citizens in customs and increased demand for goods are expected.
