Criminalistics expert Artan Rexhepi said that the cooperation of Albanian authorities with partner services is very successful.
He commented on the crackdown on another criminal group that included well-known names in the underworld.
Xhevdet Plaku was one of the most wanted by the Albanian police and Italian justice, after escaping from Ancona prison in January of this year.

"The cooperation with the allies gave excellent results. The SPAK operation is a success. The Italians investigate for a long time and can come to you on your wedding day, these are things with evidence and there will be no sign in court. The operation was undoubtedly successful ," Rexhepi told "Abc News".
He emphasized that with recent actions, it seems that the Albanian Police has also become "brave" in the face of criminal groups that operate in Albania and various countries.
"This latest operation seems to have emboldened the police. The crime syndicate has been caught, despite all the reservations. Legislation must be strengthened to prevent crime. There was a period of calm for the elections ," he said.
