Journalist Etleva Delia says that footprints have been found in the area where 45-year-old Valter Lleshi was killed in Mirdita.
In an interview with "Newsline", Delia said that it is suspected that Lleshi may have been shot at close range.
Delia added that the main motive for the murder remains revenge.
"He was in a work vehicle, according to preliminary suspicions, he may have been ambushed by several people. Earlier, explosives were placed in his work vehicle. There was no cooperation on his part, for a suspicion, even though the explosives did not explode. It seems that the perpetrators took him seriously and left him dead on the spot. Footprints were found, it is thought that the perpetrator, or perpetrators, approached on foot. They left in a vehicle, it is a difficult area. So far, at this stage, these are the first data.
"Without ruling out the investigative tracks, there could be a conflict even recently. This remains the main track, being the strongest and most vulnerable. But other investigative tracks are not ruled out. The clash between the Gjni, Reçi, Bardhi tribes, who was questioned about the murder of Anton Keni in 2020, a relative of the Gjini brothers," she emphasized.
