Tropoja-Valbona road opens, ice still present! Emergency services appeal to drivers: Watch your speed!

After hours of chaos and problems caused by bad weather, the Tropoja-Valbonë road axis is back in full operation.

The State Police and Emergency authorities announced this evening that the highway is operational.

"Blue uniformed and road maintenance services are on the ground. Salting continues in areas where there is ice, while in some areas it has started to rain," the announcement says.

The Traffic Police appealed to drivers to "moderate speed, increase vigilance while driving and follow instructions."
