
The Prosecutor's Office of Gjirokastra has today given the claim to the former head of the Cadastre of Gjirokastra, Florian Taçi and his two associates Alban Memishaj and Julian Nakuçi.
The prosecutor of the case Gazmend Frêngu, in the conclusions given before the judge Nertila Përalla, demanded 6 years in prison for the former local official Taçi and 4 years in prison for the other two accused.
Based on the request of the defendants at the initial hearing for a shortened trial, Florian Taçi will have 1/3 of his sentence reduced if found guilty, i.e. he will be sentenced to 3.4 years in prison, calculated here and 7 months that he spent in " house arrest" during this period.
While Memisha and Nakuçi will suffer from 2.5 years in prison. The former head of the Gjirokastra Cadastre is accused of forgery, fraud and abuse of office in cooperation. The defense requested 10 days for the conclusions.
Florian Taçi was arrested in the act by the Gjirokastra Police on February 28 of this year. On March 2, the Court approved security measures against the three defendants.
