Journalist Avrovita Hysaj, who was threatened by the owner of a local television station in Vlora after publishing the news of the rape of a girl, said in an interview to the media that she had not mentioned any names, but had discovered that there were 4 people who had abused her.
According to her, it was the other portals that released the name of the son of the local TV owner, which brought the reaction of his father who threatened him through phone calls and further by publishing a derogatory news about him.
"I reported that there were 4 people, not 3 as stated in the first police statement, but I did not give any names, the portals released the name of the son of the local TV administrator.
The person published on several portals as the fourth person brought the reaction of the boy's father, who threatened me with messages and further this television published a derogatory news about me, so the situation could no longer be tolerated, so I filed a complaint with the competent authorities ", Hysaj told Euronews Albania.
