The GJKKO has released Jamarbër Malltez from house arrest in connection with the 'Partizani' affair.

For about two years, Malltezi had been under the security measure "House Arrest", while he was arrested on October 21, 2023 in the context of the "Partizani" file. The court has accepted the request to revoke Malltezi's security measure, against a property guarantee of 3 million lek.

Meanwhile, it is learned that the request of Judge Elsa Ulliri, head of the trio that will judge the 'Partizani' file, who requested withdrawal with the argument that she was a cousin of Democratic MP Andia Ulliri, has also been rejected.

Sali Berisha, his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi and builder Fatmir Bektashi are accused by SPAK of privatizing the former Partizani complex in the capital.

Berisha faces charges of passive corruption, while Malltezi and Bektashi face charges of corruption and laundering of proceeds of crime.
