Analyst Andi Bushati called the Summit held in Tirana for Ukraine something good, but criticized the way this organization was presented in the media.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Bushati said that the Albanian media behaved as if our country is the "center of the world", while the contribution of our entire region to help Ukraine is minimal.
" Obviously, there is nothing bad, there is even something good, that several Summits are being held and they are giving Tirana the opportunity to clean the air and reduce the traffic... These are routine meetings. I have observations and it seems exaggerated, no the meeting but the reflection on the meeting.
If you saw the media at dinner, it looked like we lived in a country that had become the center of the world. This meeting is very small. All these countries together, in the great Russia-Ukraine conflict, have almost zero contribution. In the French media there was talk of France giving three thousand shells. Some war experts said that Russia dropped 20,000 shells.
When the West today is failing to withstand Putin's attack, what can a combination of Lilliputian states do? We saw it in the big picture, this meeting is not news. But it was echoed in our media as if we have returned to the center of the world. It is absurd to think that what was done, not only for Albania, but also for other countries, the contribution is Lilliputian. There is a people who are being used for cannon fodder ," Bushati said.
