Where will Ismail Kadare rest? Rama teases Blendi Fevziu: He would laugh at this
Prime Minister Edi Rama, Kadare and Fevziu

Prime Minister Edi Rama gave the only speech at the tributes in honor of the colossus of Albanian literature, Ismail Kadare.

Rama said that from the first moment that Kadare's death was announced, endless messages with proposals for the place where the great Albanian writer would be laid to rest arrived in his inbox.

Rama said that Kadare did not like gatherings, speeches, and that he would have a lot of fun with the proposals to bury him in Martyrs of the Nation, near the Frashëri brothers (idea proposed by the journalist, Blendi Fevziu) or in the cemetery of martyrs in Kosovo.

"Mother Teresa was getting ready for a play tonight at dinner. Leave it there, I told them, there is nothing better. No one thought what happened here especially for Ismaili and better than under her shadow, the Albanian who belongs to the world, the ceremony of conveying the Albanian who belongs to the world. Ismaili would feel protected by those who loved him and by those who loved him

In my message inbox, I received unsolicited proposals for the place where Ismail Kadare would be buried, from the lake park to the martyrs' cemetery in Kosovo. I know how that archmort, who would have a lot of fun with these proposals, and would have a crack because he couldn't attend his own funeral. Helena told me that she only wanted my speech, from someone who doesn't just talk because she loves her job, but also someone who connected with Ismail the pleasure of infrequent conversations. As soon as I found out that he died, I thought about the inevitability of organizing the funeral. I was given a postage stamp of his image at the decoration ceremony by the president of France himself. I felt like a character in Kadare's last trap.

A dizzying vortex in a palace of those dreams. Along with the glowing face, a line comes to mind: I will make a sign and I will leave! This country will never stop repeating everything Ismail Kadare gave for it. Ismail Kadare deserves to rest in a final home that is only his, not together with the martyrs. He was not a martyr, but he had no desire to be a martyr. Not with the Frashëri brothers. Ismail did not owe us to deny him his loneliness," said Rama, among others.

We remind you that after the news of the death of Ismail Kadare, the journalist Blendi Fevziu has called on the Commission that will deal with the funeral ceremony of Ismail Kadare, that the writer be buried next to the brothers Frashëri and Faik Konica in the monumental cemetery of Lake Park.
