Former Socialist Party MP Petro Koçi has announced, amidst pain, the sad news of the passing of his brother, at the age of 61.
Petro Koçi says that his brother passed away in the early hours of this morning after a nearly year and a half battle with cancer.
"With golden hands and a tireless working spirit, he continued to lead his family in Fier. But ill health made him unfaithful. The fight with the oncological diagnosis continued for almost a year and a half and ended with the dawn of today. Life goes on, but our family, Ben's wife and children, and especially our mother, who with the loss of Ben, after the loss of our younger brother Arjan, only 26 years old in 1998, will remain heartbroken," writes former MP Petro Koçi on social networks.
