The agreement between Albania and Italy for immigrants has echoed in the international media.
According to the prestigious Austrian "Der Standard", the agreement will be finalized at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
Only two days ago the agreement got the green light from the Constitutional Court, but according to the Austrian newspaper it is an agreement to set up prisons for immigrants.
"Critics have repeatedly raised the claim of a possible conflict with human rights. Restricting or depriving the freedom of immigrants, who have not committed anything and who are not in detention awaiting deportation, is a violation of human rights. This is exactly the type of deprivation of liberty that is provided for in the agreement", the newspaper writes in the article about the Rama-Meloni agreement.
According to "Der Standard", the Italian authorities will take the necessary measures to ensure the stay of immigrants in the areas and not to give them unauthorized access to the rest of the country's territory.
However, according to the newspaper, this is a clear violation of human rights.
