The initiator of the Albanian-language bar exams in North Macedonia, Mevlan Ademi, reacted to the public message of the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, praising it as an open support for Albanian law students.
"When the sons of Albania encounter difficulties, Mother Albania responds," declared Ademi.
He emphasized that the President conveyed a direct message to Albanian students in North Macedonia:
According to Ademi, in a period when, as he expressed it, "the voice of students is not taken into sufficient consideration and when the Albanian language is treated as a problem" , the head of state recalled that language and national identity constitute the fundamental basis of the nation and are not formal elements.
"Our language is history, it is sacrifice, it is the legacy of generations," he said.
Ademi also thanked the Albanian Ambassador to Skopje, Denion Meidani, appreciating his institutional commitment to this process.
"This stance gives us strength, confidence and responsibility to move forward with dignity," concluded Ademi, emphasizing that unity around language and identity remains the strongest response to challenges.
