The situation in the country has been aggravated by bad weather.
The heavy rains accompanied by strong wind and low temperatures have blocked the rural roads of the Bulqiza, Mat and Klos municipality units, leaving many villages isolated as the thickness of the snow has gone from 35 to 45 centimeters.
The rains accompanied by frost on the roads have made it difficult to circulate on the national roads, as well as on the roads within the city of Bulqiza, but not only that, the strong snow storms have also forced businesses to close.
Meanwhile, it is known that in many villages of Bulqiza administrative units, there is a lack of energy due to damage to the high and low voltage lines.
While difficulties have also been caused in the Berat-Poliçan-Skrapar national axis, due to the heavy rainfall.
In the villages of Vodice and Fushë-Peshtan, the rocks are still sliding on the road, making it difficult for vehicles to move on this axis. The situation continues to be the same since this morning and for this reason the municipality of Poliçan has deployed maintenance workers in this road segment, to normalize the situation on the road. This road is problematic every time it rains and quite dangerous in traffic, especially at night since the axis does not even have lights.
The national axis Berat-Skrapar is an axis with many turns and unlit, which not only brings difficulties in the circulation of vehicles when there is an increased presence of stones on the road, but it has also often become a source of accidents. For years there has been talk of a major project such as the fencing of the hilly area with metal nets, but so far this project has never been realized.
