Over the weekend, in Bradashesh, the Meta family's home was flooded as a result of heavy rain. According to the head of the family, the situation worsened after interventions carried out by the "Salillari" company on the bed of the Kushe stream.
He stated that about 500 square meters of area around the apartment were covered by water and debris from the damaged embankment.
The resident told "Syri TV" that the first moments were difficult and that this is the second time that the stream has overflowed its bed since the start of the works, claiming that six foot bridges have been placed in its bed.
The head of the family states that the flow of water took with it 20 beehives and about 80 chickens, while he managed to save the cow. According to him, so far no measures have been taken to avoid a recurrence of the situation.
Regarding compensation, the resident claims that the managers of the implementing company considered the flood to be a result of natural factors and not of field work.
Residents of the area are concerned about the possibility of further flooding.
"We have approached the municipality for a solution, but we have not received an official response," says a resident.
