Journalist Klodiana Lala stated that the first floor of Durrës prison continues to be flooded and detainees have been moved to the second floor, and that local and central authorities are not taking responsibility.
" There have also been problems at Durrës prison, where the cells on the first floor have been completely flooded. All detainees who are high-ranking officials from former Minister Beqaj and Mayor Veliaj have been taken to the second floor and are currently being held there, while the first floor has not returned to normal."
Local institutions have not taken any measures. There was a protest and the mayor of the municipality has not even apologized, even though the main part of the hydropower plants has not worked and there are millions of euros in damage. There must be an apology and compensation for the residents. All the propaganda is done because the citizens have thrown away their garbage, but it is forgotten that it is not the incinerator that does not exist, even though over 100 million euros have been given.
"How is it possible that there is no talk about the incinerator project that was supposed to be the largest in the country and now citizens are being accused of throwing garbage. There are 1,000 damaged homes, " Lala said on the show "The Unexposed."
