Today was the deadline for the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, to decree or reverse the two much-debated laws, that of the legalization of Cannabis and the special treatment of medical students.

Between the decree and the return of the initiatives to the Assembly, Bajram Begaj decided to remain silent, not preventing the entry into force of the two highly debated laws.

The head of state seems to have decided to take the maximum time stipulated by the constitution to consider the decree or not of a law, where after today, even if it is not expressed, they enter into force with silent approval.

So with this "insidious" action, Begaj found a middle way, not directly decreeing the laws himself, but at the same time not standing in the way of Prime Minister Rama.

Meanwhile, another initiative which provoked a lot of debate is that of the law for the Academy of Sciences, whose return deadline expires the next day.

It was this law for the Academy of Sciences that provoked strong debates in the Assembly in the last plenary session because it was included in the agenda out of procedure. The opposition called him commissioned to give a second mandate to Skender Gjinushi and for this they sent a series of requests to Bajram Begaj not to decree it.

But taking the trigger from the law of education and cannabis which were approved quietly, the fate of the law for the Academy of Sciences does not seem to change from that of the first two laws./ Pamphlet
